Book Updates!

It's gettin' down to the nitty gritty!  

I'm beginning to finalize the book.  And the perfectionism is beginning to show it's ugly teeth.  Finalizing comes with it's pros (such as adding words, designing cover pages, and finally gaining a sense of accomplishment) and it's cons (like fixing, touching up, and being a Miss Perfection Patty and entirely redoing the pages that I see fit for trash n' dashing.  Hello Extreme Makeover).  The following three images are redos of pages 1, 2 and 17.  Please feel free to leave feedback!

I did it.... I CAVED. 
I bought myself a scanner! It is an Epson and she is a BEAUT.  Finally(!) no more mobile uploads.  So, below are a few images you may recognize from the children's book I'm working on, The Little Book of Big Opposites, but hopefully you can appreciate them now.

Sign Painting

Where have I been the last few days? Painting street signs!  

They advertise the Annual Craft & Home Show at the South Egg Harbor Firehouse.

These are the old signs:

 

 

In recent years the show has been held in October, so I made them into pumpkins.

 

 

But the show also prepares shoppers for the holiday season (and the last two years it's snowed in October), so I figured snowmen were still apropos.  I just updated them a bit.
